Just an old concept design of a Human war relic for my story I did sometime ago.
anyways here the details about it. . .
The most common weapon you could find on Xennos Prime due to it's low cost and maintenance. This rifle was a perfect combination of traditional gunpowder based rifle and a Gauss muzzle velocity accelerator system all in to one. Although it's firepower and accuracy was out shined by most of modern firearms the HGAR-471 still a number one choice of most beginners and mercs due to it's extreme reliability and simpleness.
The HGAR-471 was a replica of a human made relic hybrid assault rifle date back to the "Genesis War" 562 years ago. Animar Historians believe that this weapon was most commonly used by the "Eastern Coalition Army" faction as primary assault rifle role. Although the real weapon code name was lost forever in time but the weapon shape and internal mechanism was very similar to older human made "AK-47". There are also a rumors about this weapon's durability. Some said that when the excavation team was first found this weapon in an ancient human armory they was accidentally fired this five centuries old rifle. . .

Well this is one of the best looking guns I've seen in more traditional art in some time. It actually looks like it could be a real, legitimate gun, camo scheme and everything. I like how you gave a short history to the weapon as well. A nice touch. I also like the setup, with the gun usage lined in the background, the background itself and the title bar addressing the weapons name. Well thought out, and well drawn.
Bulpup AK ftw! XD
But... you didn't properly complete the bulpup conversion. The receiver area should be back above where you placed the mag, so that the bullet could be fed straight upward into the chamber.
I know it's a sci-fi conversion, but still, it would be more accurate if the distinctive "bump" on the top was situated above the clip. How you could remedy this is to slide the trigger, grip, and mag forward to fill in the gap where the mag well was originally, and shorten the overall length of the rifle.
But for real man, cool rifle, really like it.

ah I see what you mean but I believe that I didn't drop the details on that. The former receiver area "the bump you mentioned" in a real aks was converted to battery stocks for an additional Gauss system on the rifle. The real receiver area and bullet feed mechanism was redesigned to reversely operated upside-down in the butt-stock area (that's why I leave so much area back there). Also the trigger was redesign to be a slid-back mechanism(like the P90smg) to make way for the extended muzzle area. :)
