When they announced bringing back the original voice cast, they left out Julie Brown (voice of Minerva), who hasn't done any TV or movie acting for 3 years. My guess is because she's also done a lot of live action acting, she probably comes at a higher price. It is cool that Maurice LeMarche (Brain) will be coming back, though

I heard they planned to have Pepe Le Pew not appear in the new "Looney Tunes Cartoons" for the same reason...

He's the the Looney-Tune that gave us: "Penelope Pussycat" my most favorite looney-tune of all time, both: "Penelope Pussycat" and: "Pluto" gave me inspiration to create Blappy Toonford's Pet Cat: "Lucy."

Reboots are usually notably worse than the original series and this makes sure that Animaniacs isn't an exception.

Minerva is too controversial a female character for today's 'woke' audience, I'm afraid. Or perhaps they couldn't get Julie Brown back to voice her. I kind of expected this since the majority of the original characters are not coming back either; Slappy, Skippy, Rita & Runt, The Hip Hippos (which I really liked), 2 of the 3 Goodfeathers (which I never liked), Mindy & Buttons, Katie Kaboom, the Mime, Mr. Skullhead, etc. In most cases I think it was a matter of getting the voice actors back and not using characters that somone else owned cuz they didn't want to get sued by Tom Ruegger or Sherry Stoner - neither of whom is involved either. Just the 3 Warner Sibs, Pinky & the Brain and Squit. Since this is going to be on Netflix, I expect it to be controversially political in nature.

My Friend Alan Wilcox (Tex) and I are planning to give Minerva Mink her very own Animated musical with the same type of Storytelling of a Animated Disney Movie called: "Minerva Mink." Plus,: "The Mineva Mink Show" will be a animted Family Friendly Sitcom... But Alan Wilcox (Tex) insited that: "The Mineva Mink Show" should be true to the original show... Almost, made it in the style of a Tex Avery cartoon.

It should last at least an hour show.

Actually, It's going to be a animated Family Friendly Sitcom like, The Flintstones, and The Jetsons, and maybe some writting that inspired by live-action Sitcoms like Dinosaurs, Family Matters, Full House, Saved by the Bell, Boy meets World, Etc, and i also think that the Minerva Mink Show will have an animated Half hour Episode, not an animated Hour Episode.

Um, besides an animated musical, what about Minerva's own cartoon show? I really hope that goes to fruition. In fact, I sent a message to Julie Bruin if they did have Minerva in it if she'd do her voice again and she said she would want to voice her again. If a fan-spinoff comes to fruition, I'd definitely bring it to her attention. I'm sure she'd be willing to voice Minerva Mink for it.

I hope that can be possible. If it gets to that point of the fan spin-off cartoon, if we can find a talented animator who can animate each episode, musicians to record the music score, etc.
In this case, if it comes to that point and Julie Brown is willing to do her voice, and I'm sure she would, she would have to record her lines into a microphone on her laptop and save the .wav or mp3 files and send them in and then we'd mix Minerva's lines at the appropriate time.

But yeah if they wanted to include her in a more 'PC ' way they could of even had her in very short cameo about not wearing fur( to appeal to the anti fur /animal rights crowd) and that she looks better in in her 'naked' form( using that as a 'sexiness' excuse) then humans wearing it with Newt agreeing with hearts in his eyes, maybe spotting her a dressing room or something or having a job as a model?( it could just be something super short ..just an acknowledgement of her existence to old fans.), but they just didn't care enough heh, they could also build on her character and make her a bit less shallow, but her being that way was part of the humor I think?

By my understanding, it's getting old and Steven is gonna do another
series from his classic 90 show: Tiny Toons in Tiny Toons Looniversity but
many us fans are now boycotting the reboot but I'll give a chance. But if it's not good,
then this generation just gone really fucked up. We'll continue drawing for your 30th Anniversary in which it's coming this September 2023. Love u, Minerva, always.
