Akita have thick furs because they live in very cold area.

I like Akitas. Some people who live near me have them, but they are not kept happy, and bark angry when I walk past.

Akita is the only Japanese breed that have foreign derivative breed.
It is American Akita.
I heard why it is only Akita.
According to the information,in past,American soldiers returned to U.S.A from Japan.
When they back to U.S.A,they took Akitas because Akitas was liked by American soldiers.
Anyway,barking dogs make us unhappy.
That too bad.

The most famous Akita is "Hachi" in Japan.
He had greatest loyalty.
He always waited in front of Shibuya station for his master.
One years later,the master died suddenly.
But Hachi did't notice it.
Hachi had continued to wait his master in front of Shibuya station every day for 10 yaears.
Unfortunately,Haci was dead in his age of 11.
Now,statue of Hachi is in frot of the Shibuya station.
Alomost Japanese know it.
