Needles suck

That's gonna look bad ass! I love the design. I actually commented elsewhere that I though it would make a good tattoo design without knowing that this was the intention of the illustration. Go figure!!!


Now, about that fear of needles...

In actuality, the tattoo needles only poke about 1mm - 1.5mm deep. It's just penetrating into the dermal layer of skin deep enough to deposit the ink.

Yeah, it more of just the thought of the needle going into the skin. It's funny, I'm not squeamish at all, I dissect things all the time, grew up watching surgical videos, have helped chair-side in dental surgeries, what have you, and yet needles just freak me out.

I'm also a bit worried about the pain, I have such a low pain tolerance

The amount of pain all depends on where you choose to have it done. More meaty parts of the body are less painful than spots closer to the bone. Ribs, chest, feet: painful. Shoulder, arm, thigh: not so painful.

i'll be getting it on the inside of my right ankle, hopefully it won't be thaaaat bad :/
