The World Isn't Flat, And I Can Prove It!

You ever take the time to look at those old, fancy, embellished globes from ages gone by before precision mapping, when national borders were different and names far more... elegant? There's something whimsical about gazing back into the past like that, and just going for a little jaunt around out small, small world through the lense of a hundred, or more, years past. How long it is that we've known our little sphere was finite, and in knowing, tried to map it....
...And yet SOMEHOW now we've got the flat Earth society XD *sigh* Oh well. I'll keep my globe and spin it to amuse myself. Simple things for simple folk :p

Seriously, soooooooooo much detail in this. Amusingly, this actually technically started out as a freebie like two years ago that had to get shelved so, now that I'm more financially stable (but still nowhere near responsible XD) I decided to see if we could continue on the concept that freebie has spawned and, thus, we have this! Go forth and fave the original here

I am admittedly weak to large victorian libraries and the endless knowledge they possess. Everything in this picture just speaks of wisdom, knowledge and power. Including the handsome drake
