Don’t you just hate it when meddlesome twin-tailed foxes show up unannounced at your doorstep in outer space just to pull apart your well-crafted evil schemes?
No? Hmmm, I guess Eggy is in the minority on that one.
Looks like there is a world that needs saving once again and we all know Sonic and his friends won’t stand by when the call for help comes. Tails takes center stage in this image as he storms Eggman’s primary battleship in the lofty heights of space. He has a look of confidence and a touch of smugness spreading across his brow, a clear sign that a particular blue hedgehog is rubbing off on him.
I wanted the background to simply ooze with pure epic vibes, so I added in a few celestial bodies to really help set the scene. The whole perspective is slightly slanted to give the overall art piece that little touch of dynamic flair I have become rather attached to. The end result is easily my favorite picture of Tails to date.
I utilized a lot of different things I have learned in the past year to construct this piece and I have to say I both see and feel myself continuing to improve as an artist. I just have to make sure I continue to push myself to create better and better works in the future.
