So I chose one of my best friends. :D My dad!! He plays bass in two bands on the side, it's his sanity-keeping side-job/hobby aside from his bacon-getting work. I love my dad so much. 9u9
I do NOT love Illustrator so much. Working with vector is tedious, tiring, and takes fucking forever. I could get a million crits on this tomorrow in class and I'd never fix anything just so I wouldn't have to touch this program again. :0 Certain parts were fun or meditative and it was certainly a learning experience, but mostly it was tedium.

ramzkun for providing me with a download of the Illustrator CS4 Trial; I would never have been able to put as much time into this if it hadn't been on my own computer!

I'm not sure how you're being taught to use Illustrator, but there are several ways to go about it, some more tedious than others, for sure. I tend to think of it as using scissors and construction paper, but I know other people that think of it more like a connect-the-dots tool or using rubberbands stretched around nails in a plank. If that makes any sense.
I just saying that there are different approaches to the concept of vectors, don't give up on it!
