he’s not a former captain, but he’s supposed to be almost at size with one – being mated to the captain of his chip, as well as being an eliksni capable of carrying young, got him preferential ether rations. he’s a big, quiet, soft-spoken guy; he knows he’s on shaky terms with the Tower, so he’s constantly trying to be as non-threatening as he can possibly manage
