This...right here. This is what I love so much about fursuiting. Making the children smile as they come up for a hug. I enjoy nothing more then suiting in the public to just entertain someone, or make their day at least a little bit brighter, if only for a moment.
This picture, along with countless others, was taken during my day of Fursuiting for the Techmobile at my library where I work. I was asked by the Director to spend the day drawing attention to the TM and be sure that the children were drawn in not only for hugs, but to learn more about the Techmobile and the services we offer.

Heh, if you read the description on the picture you'll see my intention wasn't to scare the kid. In general, I enjoy to fursuit and put a smile on people's faces. Something I developed at EF14 2 years ago was to trade a lollipop for a hug :3 and since then, it's gone public aswell as i've given out lollipops to people in the public when i'm in fursuit.
There's just something satisfying when interacting with a willing audience.
I was entertaining some coworkers in my home and one brought his three children with him. I was asked by another coworker to put on my fursuit just so everyone could see what it looked like up close. The very same picosecond that the headpiece went on I became the coolest thing these three kids had ever seen. They wanted hugs; they brushed my fur; they made me beg for cookies.
It causes warm fuzzies all around.

I can't lie the interaction with people is awesome. After I am done i feel energized. For weeks after cons and events i feel on top of the world. I seems to mee the smiles and the positive vibes from those around you make me feel good.
I love seeing guys like Danny Dingo is suit. The character he bring to life makes people smile, laugh and feel good. Anytime i see a fursuit that is good with the public it reminds me of why i love suiting so much.(I'm not great but getting better,I hope.)
