This is my brand new OC Silas, an alien bird man known as a "Kleptoid" who works as a rogue space pirate aboard his ship the Arbiter. Originally the second in command amongst a full pirate crew, he came to see his captain as incompetent and unappreciative of his contributions. Deciding to go solo, he looted up the ship's treasure hoard with as much as he could carry before commandeering the unit which eventually became his own. Now he tours the galaxy in search of riches ripe for the pillaging, employing his expertise in technological weaponry and hand to hand combat as tools for fulfilling his desires. Ruthless in his tactics, he often appears devoid of compassion for those whom he robs and attacks, though can't avoid a lingering sense of loneliness while relying nobody but himself, and only having the fruits of his labor for company. Eventually locking his sights on the S.S. Selago, a freighter operated by Kera and her crew of bounty hunters. While he seeing this as a goldmine opportunity, he was subdued via the teamwork of the crew, realizing group coordination was key in winning out against a single opponent. Showing admiration and respect, he vowed his loyalty to the crew in exchange for them sparing his life. Little did he realize this act would end up filling the void of loneliness he had been feeling all that time. While still capable of showing manners and respect, he shows little to no mercy for anyone who acts as an obstacle to his goals, sometimes calling his secret weapon, hacking up corrosive enzymes which can eat through flesh in seconds, hence his last name. If you're not a friend, steer clear of this bird!
