My sister insisted. She has an obsession with the movie and all the dragons. She didn't want to pay $70 to someone reselling the big Walmart plushies.
The wings are posable (as demonstrated on the right) and the tail is also somewhat posable. Back legs are attached at a small point so that it can sit or stand.
I am pretty proud of this, and my hand is getting used to the pain, so yay!

It actually took less time than I expected! I never time myself because I don't work in set blocks of time (I do a few rows/rounds, get distracted by the internet, do a few more, go have a snack, etc) so I tend to go by "days." Most of my projects take two days and are much smaller than this guy, who took five. I thought it would take a week at least!
Yeah, when I got home from the movie I was going to try and make up a pattern myself, but since she'd already made one it seemed better to just use hers. I'm still new to this stuff and I don't think I would have been able to figure out the wings or how to make the legs bent on my own!
