Since April, I've been putting assets together for a new visual novel seriese and posting and streaming the progress to my Patreon and Discord. So far reception to it is warm, and people there are okay with the fact that this game is one im making predominantly for myself.
The design brief is to roll out some of the stories I've been drafting since nanowrimo 2017 into something people can experience through VN gameplay. So far ive made about two of the stories into unpolished, but playable scenes. If nothing else, seeing nai blinking and talking in the world of Galleon gives me a deep sense of closure i wasn't gonna find anywhere else.
Ill be working on making those VN scenes this month, and uploading sprite sheets for the main leads:

Just be careful you to tease Lex so hard a tv god erupts from his forehead like a hormonally imbalanced zit.

It's funny how I recognize him without having ever really paid much attention to him (I hope that doesn't sound rude). That's him coming up the stairs in "Nyan'uary 10" as well, right?
You mentioned that you've incorporated two of the stories so far; how many will you be including in all? Or is it that you've taken some of your stories and used them as the foundation for your game? It's really good to hear that this is already giving you a sense of closure though, if it alright to ask (if at all whether here or elsewhere), what sort of closure did you mean? *Worries*
I'm really sorry; I had wanted to write something meaning and warm but all I could think of were questions and a desire to learn more about your project and how you're feeling. ;w;
