It’s been a year already! I figured it’s time I finally gave my boii a detailed ref sheet ;u;
Noxus was inspired by a simple firefly squid, and recently we’ve been having bioluminescent plankton appearing in our welsh seas! It’s magical 💙
A little info on my boii
Territory: Noxus lives along and patrols the 186 mile stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coastline.
Habitat: He can be found near coastlines and beaches, primarily in areas littered with caves in which to hide and nest. Adept at both swimming and flight he's comfortable living underwater and on land, adjusting his nesting habits to follow wherever food is more abundant
Diet: Although he is omnivorous, Noxus will only rarely eat the occasional fruits he may come across, his diet mainly consisting of meat, ranging from fish to larger prey animals and even small dragons. When available he will feed on bioluminescent plankton to sustain the glowing marks that litter his body.
Temperament: Short-tempered and largely solitary, Noxus will rarely be found in the company of other dragons. When crossing paths with those too large to make a meal of, he will often flare his feathers and flash his lights in a territorial display. The glow is meant to startle and fool any would-be challengers into thinking he has a venomous bite.
Physical Attributes:
- Iridescent feathers growing along his snout, crown, and neck serve to trap heat and help keep him dry.
- Pigmentation in the skin acts as camouflage similar to a cuttlefish, shifting color and shade to match his surroundings.
- The glowing markings can be dimmed or brightened, either to facilitate camouflage, intimidate challengers, or attract a mate.
- Capable of breathing a bright blue flame
