That theory has holes, like, the Viper King was genetically engineered, geez, and Torque considers herself not an alien because she's born on earth and is entitled about it, no other Viper ever says that they are earthlings, don't consider themselves aliens etc. (Grey Phoenix sneks even want to leave the planet!). There's not enough evidence provided, it's just :

"Hey, imagine this, the Vipers were made on earth and here's some evidence that doesn't even make sense"

And about that "millions of years ago" part... why didn't we find them then?

Eh it's better than Lockstin & Gnoggin's Theory of them with was just bullshit but also I think this could be true since there the only anthro animals in the game and I think we could see more like crocodiles and Turtles.

I'd be on the train with crocs but the whole theory may be better than Lockstin & Gnoggin's but it's still... it still is way too vague and doesn't really explain everything, if I read right it even had plot holes. Especially the part with the Viper King and Torque.

Fun fact, I found out that the guy who wrote the theory was banned from the lore section of the XCOM 2 Discord server, tells you a lot about what he actually knows^^
