That last panel in particular just gives me all the happy feels :3 and you can tell Martin really cares about Star, and it's a -very- welcome contrast with his teasing style compared to Marellis'-Martin even was self aware enough to apologize for naturally going into 'caretaker' mode
Oops. That looks like maybe accidental caretaker mode was engaged. His blush in the last panel is adorable like he just caught himself with what he was doing and that's so cute too. CGs totally get flustered and blushy at times too. With both of them red in the same panel, love it.
Also, I dunno if I would say fish defines a pub. I would think the quality of the burger is more important, but I don't eat fish so that might be swaying my opinion. 100% agree that fries make or break the place though. You HAVE to have good fries! Thank you Star, for the early morning dinner cravings, really appreciate this, lol. XD

bitters are pretty much a thing you'll only found in the UK. They are some sort of pale ale but are kinda considered on their own category. if I'm not wrong they can also be called cask beer, because they don't use the pressure kind of tap but a pumping system. Never seen that outside of the UK.
You can buy bitters in bottles so maybe that would be feasible in the US
Like near me theres a number of taprooms which import beers from alll over the place in bottles so im sure there must be places in teh US like that.
Im trying to think weve been to america a few times now and found a number of different beers and trying to think of any that came close to the ones we normally drink here in the UK. I wondered if Marstons maybe exported any beers over there but it looks like they only export IPAs....When I was in Canada we had Rickard red I believe it was called which was almost a bitter but it was constantly being sereved in like freezing cold temperature which any ale drinker will tell you basically kills the taste of teh actual beer and a lot of breweries will agree the only reason you'd serve a beer that freezing cold is because its a crap beer and you're trying to hide the taste LOL So never actually got to try it at a warmer temp so not sure.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. I don't really bar hop but, there's basically a small town in the middle of my city which isn't uncommon in the US and this place is basically bar Central.
There's one road with a ton of specialty bars just right next to each other. I know there's an Irish pub that serves imported Irish stuff so it wouldn't be outside of the realm of possibilities.

There's a bar in Paris
(I never went there, but I have some online friend who did and I saw sone pictures)
that serves every drink in baby bottles.
And to order, everyone must draw the drink (they are named after cartoons).
So I don't doubt that there's some bar who wouldn't hesitate serving beers in sippy cups.

If you live in France there a small restaurant group called "Les Fils à Maman" (Mommy's boys) that is themed after 80's/90's nostalgia and childhood nostalgia, all their dishes are adult and better version of famous French children food. And whatever your age is you are given a set of crayons and a drawing to do.
Speaking of beer, click below to read a comment I made a while ago about the Budweiser Brewery Tour.

This is what happens when you get old, you start seeing things that aren't there, reading stuff wrong, and all sorts of silly stuff.
I can only say I hope it doesn't happen to you, at least any time in the near future.
But, just for fun, you SHOULD put it on the menu, just for laughs.

Is steak and ale pie anything like a pasty? I got sent to the UK for work for 3 weeks and basically lived off those things. I was only just starting to get sick of them by the time I had to fly home.
That trip also gave me a taste for beer. I used to hate it, but 5 pounds for a tiny glass of diet soda vs 5 pounds for a liter of beer made it pretty much a no-brainer that I was going to have a beer with my meal if I wanted something fizzy.
Also, nice to see you back. I remember really enjoying reading your stories.

It's good to be back and I'm glad you enjoyed my writings. I don't know if a Steak and Ale pie is a Pasty. Perhaps a friend from across the pond could enlighten us? The beer was pretty tasty and my wife enjoyed the shandies. Beer in the US is pretty much crap and I honestly like German beers the best.
This is going to make talking about Marellis really hard if she keeps purring and blushing at Martin. But, if she does anything wrong and gets a spanking from him, I'm sure she'll willingly allow it and be rather happy about it to boot!
Formula, huh? LOL
Nice on, Sammy. I'd really like to visit a real English pub one day. We've had Americanized versions of them. but I don't think they compare.

I started this comic the other day because I'm bored in the hospital, and, I basically am all caught up and craving more, lol. I love your art, I love the comic, and at many points it made me wish I was home, padded, regressed, and, well, um, having some NSFW time. >\\< Keep up the amazing comic.
When I'm reading this comment, I'm just thinking about how many lives must be changer after reading this comics, and for example how many companies (for example maybe someone from another pub reading this and he will change his menu with menu for kids, because he will know that some peace of him is just baby)
Ahhhh this reminds me of when my husband (boyfriend at the time) asked the waitress for some paper and crayons for me while we waited. He didn't know I used the "little" label then and I hadn't said anything to prompt him or suggest it. It was the first time that it really clicked for me that he loves every part of my personality and isn't embarrassed by me!! 🥰🥰
