Honestly, this was my least favorite season of the show. The characters seemed so bland compared to the original cast, never seeming to develop beyond a few predefined traits in their personalities, staying where they were for the whole run. I think that's due to the season length, as season 2 was the shortest. It might also have to do with their primary villain, baring a dramatic reveal at the very end, was a human. No other season really did that, with the big bad behind it all, plotting and planning, and visible for a good half of the season. Yet, he didn't really have a digimon, he merely commanded a couple of them, unlike Ken, who had a digimon, Wormmon. My problem, of course, was, that was a unique concept, and if done correctly, could have ended with an epic fight. Sadly, the guy was a total push over when directly confronted, and just collapsed by the end of the series.

It was one of my favorite seasons.

To each there own, but the arts good at least, showing a love for the characters, and a unique style to boot.
