I loved this movie, she represented all I felt a mother should be... and all my step mom was. She put her life on the line not only for her children but also for others, she was selfless and brave. When everyone told her it was hopeless and just move on, she was relentless about saving her son. I never got the chance to read the book but I have been told it outshined the movie but still the heart is the same.
