So we go from year to year,
with secrets we've been keeping.
Though you say you're not a Templar man.
Seems as if we're circling for very different reasons,

During the Queen's War, Admiral Shem Deucalion commanded a number of fleets responsible for lightning strikes against the enemies of the Empire's interplanetary solidarity. In the world of SG/Helios it is very rare for avians to achieve such a significant position within the Empire, since they are considered physically weak, queer creatures living in a subconscious tragedy over having their wings clipped in exchange for anthropomorphic sapience. Deucalion overcame these limitations through hard work, unerring personal ethics and devotion to universal progress by the hand of Man.
This visual of Deucalion is from before the horrific sabotage of an assault on the planet-state Xibalba. The operation Swiss-cheesed the ICC Ångermanälven and would've meant an end to Deucalion, if it weren't for his sheer strength of will allowing him to live and serve the Empire within an experimental artificial body.

Tweaked the colours like mad, which was made easier by Ashpond's crisp lines. Yellow happens represent the peacekeeping branch of the Empire, the Milicia. Black is usually reserved for high-ranking officers and archmembers of the Imperial council.
Edit: Re-up with fixed hues. I'd done the pic on my notebook, but damn, it looked real lemony-yellow when I saw it on my home PC.
