So after a disastrous research presentation, I've been feeling pretty down... I've been practicing for this presentation for over two weeks and despite all of my computer hardware looking okay, my internet decided to take a hike for the first time in over month and I got booted from the conference call without getting past the first slide x(
In case your curious, here's basically how things went down... [Story time] ...
*Latios introduces himself and begins discussing the first two points*
Research Advisor: "Could you explain what you mean by ..." *silence*
Latios: *Checks speakers in confusion ... notices no internet connection*
*Internet network crashes for the first time*
Latios: Oh GREAT!!!
*scrambles to switch to mobile data*
[5 min later]
*computer eventually reconnects to internet and Latios rejoins the conference call*
Latios: Sorry about the break up. You were asking about a point on this slide?
RA: Yes. With regards to ...
*internet takes a hike*
Latios: -_-
... What was supposed to be an hour and a half research defence ended in less than 10 minutes ... Ironically, it took about an hour for the internet to fully reset ... exactly when the meeting was supposed to end... #gofigure
Needless to say ... Latios was pretty down ... Latias being Latias tried to lighten her brother's mood... by filling him full of helium ...

That is such a relatable scenario and sadly so true, whenever you really need the internet it screws you over =n=
Funny enough the same happened in our department when we lost connection everywhere and you can't even work properly without internet or you get kicked out of an important meeting with your boss... yeah. So I can totally relate as well.
