Being the youngest sibling isn't always easy, especially when your older siblings are gifted with incredible powers. Manic often found himself growing jealous of their abilities. It felt like he was the odd one out, not having any special superpowers to help the people around him. Despite feeling powerless sometimes, he would still keep a leveled head and help out with the most basic tasks. The same couldn't be said for today though. After a little sibling dispute, poor Manic was taunted viciously by both Sonic and Sonia for not possessing any powers. Manic had never been so angry before, he always tried to prove himself yet it showed no impact towards them. They had no idea how it felt to feel insignificant compared to others. After storming out angrily, his almost teary eyes caught the attention of a shiny gem they recently gathered. Manic curiously approached it as the gem emitted an unnatural light, almost magically attracting the green hedgehog. A sudden grin formed on his face as he held the mysterious gem in his palm, a strange electric tingle passed through his entire body. There was definitely more to this shiny stone than he initially thought, the electric pulse flowing through the young boy's body was encouraging him to get to the bottom of this.

Moments later, Sonic and Sonia woke up in a strange place separated from each other, slightly dim, not well-ventilated and very cushiony, it was also an enormously sized room, almost like a stadium. "You guys up yet?" A loud voice boomed through the entire area. Looking up, both siblings observed their youngest brother now looming above them like a god. "What's wrong? You two seem a bit… scared." Manic added with a mischievous grin, acting completely innocent. The green hedgehog was definitely responsible for the whole situation, and he wanted to relish every moment of it. As the young giant lifted his bare foot above his older brother, it became clear where he was trapped in, Manic's shoe. "Gonna give my lil' bro some protection, you'll need it at that size." He giggled while wiggling his gigantic toes. The tiny hedgehog fearfully blasted off deeper into his massive brother's shoe to avoid ending up underneath his fleshy foot. "Your speed won't get you out of this one." Manic chuckled as his stomper entered the footwear. With a little push, he instantly caught up to his shrunken brother. "Size over speed, bro. How's that for a powerless dude?" Came another mocking remark from above as the green god slammed his fleshy mass onto the insole, squeezing his brother between his soft sole and the spongy ground.
