I wouldn't call it "horrible". While it may not be formated like a "proffesional" ref sheet (and you'll note I used quotes), it seems you have most/all the important information listeed here, as well as all views except full frontal, which can easily be extrapolated from the action view given. I think it work pretty well for a reference sheet, is more interesting to look at than most I've seen here, and I like the fact that you even gave him a scientific name; that's a nice touch I haven't seen before. It'd be interesting to see art of him in the form of "sightings", like having the little "Record" in the upper right with the red circle or such, or as a polaroid.
I'm also trying to figure out where I've head the name Sobek before. It sounds familiar, but I just can't place why.

Thanks! Yeah, it was a pretty quick ref. sheet I threw together while the ideas were still buzzin' in my skull. AND, I'll admit, I am not computer/program savvy in any way. :/ Hence why I get my ass whooped when it comes to coloring and formatting and things of that nature. (I'm practicing, though).
And that 'sightings' idea is a GREAT idea! Maybe I'll give that a shot, huh? :D
Glad you like the overall idea, though...and Sobek is the Crocodile headed god of Egyptian Mythology. :3

I knew I'd heard it before somewhere! Heh, no wonder I thought the name fit him rather well. Yeah, I'm with you on the whole "get it down while it's fresh" thing; I have three seperate Word documents titled "Ideas #1", "Ideas #2", and "Ideas #3" where I wrote down ideas that came to mind that I didn't want to forget.
Yeah, I've had a few like that; that's why I have those Word document repositories now. If I don't write it down somwhere (like my pile of ten or so notebooks I used to use), I only remember half the idea, and usually lose a critical piece of information that glued the whole concept together that made it cool in the first place. And those were some good ideas too! And once it's lost that coherency, it eventually drifts apart and fades away. Ah, the fickle nature of the creative mind.
