I do like this version better, mostly because of the expressions. The girls definitely seem to be enjoying themselves more, and Tails looks more curious at what is happening in this version as opposed to your original; he looked more "horrified" at what he was looking at.

I think I saw the face I gave him in the old pic in an issue of the Archie Sonic comics, and being a sucker for a wacky facial expression, just had to work it in somehow. Plus, it felt like I had too much empty space at the time, so that's a thing. :P
But yes, having him go from "WTF" to "owo wha dis?" was definitely a change I felt was needed for the new version. XD
