I really liked rewriting basically all the dialogue in that cutscene but recontextualized in a way that is heart breaking. :P

This actually almost spun off into a Revalink comic/fanfiction with a long form story dealing with Link and Zelda finding the physical reincarnations of the champions and in a reverse of Link's journey go around and trigger the missing memories of their past lives while Link gets a chance to actually try moving for the relationship he missed out on in the past with Revali 2.0
But it got shelved for just being too long of an idea that I didn't feel like getting into so the last 2 pages or "BOTW: Nevermind" that would have led into that got left unfinished somewhere :P

I'm sad to hear that, hope to see fics like that in the future.
