Yet another of my lil odd scifi type ideas that I came up with. Boys and girls meet Kalez. Kalez here is a member of the first sentient species of the Sol system. For those that may not know that's the name of our solar system. Kalez's people lived on Mars long ago while it was till geologically active. Kalez is one of the few lucky survivors of this species. Near the end they sent out many ships to try and colonize elsewhere in the solar system. Kalez here though isn't from the group that initially made it to earth. As far as anyone knows this group did not survive as the early earth they landed on did not at the time have a breathable atmosphere and apparent attempts at terraforming may not have been successful. Kalez here was recovered from a large sleeper vessel which had settled into a rather long orbit around the solar system. A human vessel found it and the passengers on board. Most of which were still alive in stasis. However most other systems on the ship had failed by that point as the ship had been orbiting for roughly a billion and a half years. The Marsians were eventually awakened as humans managed to restore power to other systems of the ship. The 6000 plus individuals on board now reside mostly on earth or nearby stations.

Kalez here is seen walking down an alley on earth exploring it. Before all this he had been a junior grade Keep Peace officer. The armor is from that. Functional although mostly ceremonial. Kalez is fairly average for a Martian boy. He's adjusting well to life on earth. Getting used to going to a human school. The only two classes that provide him any challenge though it seems are English and History. He's ahead of the curb in his other classes. Of course we can see he's also wearing a diaper and it would seem rather much without shame. This is fairly common among his people. A side effect of such a prolonged cryo sleep. Result is permanent. Even without this though it wasn't too uncommon before hand as many weren't trained until around age 12 and there were always a few who lingered wearing some kind of absorbent garment into their teens both at day and at night.
