Ayyyy it's Mahihko wearin' a dress from the Chicago movie/musical. Musicovie. This was an attempt in my sketchy style, though hilariously took as long if not longer than the "slower" neat style. MOSTLY 'cause of that damn collar. I got some good feedback on it, and I feel like I know how to do it better next time (longer, thinner strokes of the light color into the dark for a better blend) so YEAH I still feel good, and that's a good thing to feel. Also still truckin' on doin' speed painted backgrounds. It's good practice, I'm told (and I'm learning more about making colors look gud)
That's about it! No dicks here. I know, crazy.
Mahihko is me

Still proud of your colors! You're getting a knack for picking the right ones for shading the fore with the background. I challenge you to try set-ups with different palettes - there's art challenge memes that give you sets of colors to use, even.
And yes, Hiko rockin' that outfit - don't think I missed that hand holding the cigarette-holder, either, nice.

Awww thanks, Shu. As always, your words are a massive inspiration to keep pushing. I'll take that challenge!! I think I started doing a lot of these brown-gold-amber based settings because it's the only shading that seems to work on them pale wolfbois. But you're definitely right, gotta branch out. I'm already thinking of using a different palette for the Hiko-on-sign on I'm workin' on, if only 'cause the lighting for those gonna be a trip to try and do good.
