Awrrr X3 I love it when the birdies fluff up like that. We had a grey cockatiel, two actually, first one was Gordon, second was Maggie. They have since passed on though, but now we have an african grey named Lucy =3

I wish I had the means to have an African Grey...actually I wish I had the means to rescue more avians because there are so many that need a good home. I wish I could've taken home the two big scarlet macaws I saw at the Brookfield Zoo, :P. They were awesome!

S'funny because i have two cockatiels also named 'after' musical celecbrities. Otis afetr Otis Reading and Dexter after Dexter Holland.

I'm not the one that named him Elton. I rescued him from certain doom in December of 2005. The people that lived across the hall and one floor down from us were moving and they could only take one animal with them on the plane so they took their favorite cat. I still wonder what happened to the budgies and like, four other cats they had... So Elton is very special. He came at a time when I really needed him the most.
