A lesser known fact about Rebis and Brio is that they used to work together! The two kobolds had concurrent ideas to leave the service of their dragon overlord, and wound up running into each other while attempting to abscond in secret. To help facilitate their newfound independence, Rebis and Brio agreed to team up for a time—their working relationship being that of a master and apprentice.

On good days, the pair made one hell of a dynamic (if not slightly dysfunctional) duo! Though on the not-so-good days, the two kobolds would often butt heads and disagree over methodology, unequal workload, or some other trifling minutia. Rebis thought Brio made a decent enough assistant but was a bit too scatterbrained for his liking—her innate talents leaned more towards destruction over creation, as well. Brio, on the other hand, thought Rebis was too stern and intractable—he was simply "no fun," by her fluctuating standards!

Ultimately the two kobolds would split and go their own separate ways, but not before making some devilishly ingenious creations! Occasionally Brio still manages to locate Rebis and drop in uninvited, and with enough poking and prodding she can even get the older kobold to let her in on his current projects!
