This time: the Avalonian chaos inverts
Soooo... Avalonians are the drwellers of plane of perfection. They asked each of the known gods to bring them to the prime material plane to "experience imperfection". They are basically tourists. I know. Also they are plants and whatnot. See the other avalonians i asked.
Soooo... what happens when somebody from the plane of perfection asks for a trip to see imperfection to the god of chaos?
Why. The god of chaos makes them experience randomness. What else? Did you think he would take revenge?
Also... they are now stuck in a cycle of life death and rebirth and can't get back to Avalon. Ops.I'm sure it was not meant to happen, it's just how things are, you take a gamble...
So the Chaos inverts are what happens when Sprites die.
Where sprites embody a body closer to the original avalonians, but with bug wings, the chaos inverts have wings closer to the original bodies, but with bug bodies.
Where the sprites take on the most childish aspects of the personalities of the soul. The chaos inverts take on the more serious, pragmatic and unbending rigid sides.
So. Have a jingoistic chaos invert.

Bloody complex concepts. I imagine your imagination must be off the charts to come up with concepts like this.
A plane of perfection... interesting. I suppose with elemental planes, chaos and law planes, etc. it only makes sense.
Interesting that an apparently perfect being would seek to touch imperfection... Wouldn't that mean that it was actually flawed in some fundamental way? more stuff to ponder... >u <
Anyway, the idea of a feathery-winged bug folk is freaking awesome. I've seen winged wolves and all that quite commonly, but never even thought of a bird-winged insect... silly me. X3
Wonderful concepts~! it's a shame there's a sort of cuteness to this clearly deadly-serious individual... cute and serious hardly ever mix in good terms. But I suppose that just makes their chaotic nature all the more apparent! :D

Eyup.
And why would perfection not want to touch imperfection? To be unlearned would mean conceding to imperfection.
Which... explains why there are so few sprites and chaos inverts. They tried. It did not work. They stopped. To give more onto a trap would be foolish and it was confirmed with the test that there was no way to make a perfect treaty with the god of Chaos.
The sprites and chaos inverts are perfectly content with their status, for they knew the risks involved but took their decision. Living with the consequences is just "the perfect thing to do".
They are functionally immortal, like most avalonian. Soooo no problem there. They are just enjoying imperfection much more than most other avalonians.

Apparently you got the attention of a friend of mine, who is a bit of a "whale", and an intellectual sort like you...
"This is how people like me get inspiration; from other talented people who come up with stuff like this.
Reverse Fey? Would've never considered the thought until this moment.
What about a much more serious group of people that looks monstrous but looks to aid in entirely serious ways? How many would take them seriously? What kind of bond would you get from 'good decisions not-fey'?
Ingenious. Raft of new ideas from that."
Anyway, I sent em your gallery link. ~u o I'm sure they'll enjoy learning more about avalonians, as well as other concepts you've worked on.
