"the lion king" was one of my favourite movies as a kid, i had the giant wall decals in my room <3 i just watched the dvd again the other day, but was pissed off when i remembered they ruined it by adding that new zazu song crap. UGH. but in any case.. i still love it..

Yeah i ALWAYS watch the classic version. None of that morning report shit. Simba sings like a total chick too xD Best stick with the original! xD
Love what you did here with the colors. And the picture itself is great. It's very recognizable as scar but you've really done your own thing with it too, it looks very unique. Very nice! ^^

omg i WISH i could watch the original.. they don't have an option to view it on the dvd do they? i couldn't find it.. i have the vhs still.. i guess i could watch that -_- it's horrible too because it's SO obvious they added it in... the animation becomes new and ugly, and the voice chances UGHGHGHG hahaha it angers me so much. at least i'm not alone <3

Yes they do have the option! Go to the Movie Settings/Audio Setup, you know, where you choose the audio set up. Then you can play the Classic version, or the Special Edition ^^ Considering you're playing the same DVD as me, the one they released October 2003.
Yes, i noticed their animation change too.. and when Mufasa says "Let a Pro show you how it'd done" and its REALLY OBVIOUS that they slow-moed the original animation.. it looks like a fricken 12 year old threw that bit together... so choppy x___x I nearly forgot all about that when Simba started singing though.. because my GOD it's SUCH a different voice, it startled the hell out of me xD
As for the colors, I like what you did with them, I like it when people are influenced by the style but also have their own fun with it... if that makes sense xD

YA! i totally forgot too, until i was like wtf how do i not know this song? i know every disney song.. they did this in beauty and the beast too... when the furniture dances... why're they ruining the classics? but i know what you mean, it disgusted me the moment i realized it shouldn't be there. i remember it being just zazu blabbing on, and more of a focus on mufasa and simba talking.. i want to swiftly kick the people who had any part in this XD

LOL Seriously, totally go run and try it. You'll feel SO MUCH BETTER after seeing it the way it should be xD They REALLY need not be screwing with their classics. They should be busy belting out more mediocre CG movies.

i'm TOTALLY with you on that... aside from pixar, because i love them, i wish 2d never died. butttttt it's coming back, so i hope princess and the frog helped a bit, and they continue creating more.... because i wouldn't be me if they never existed.
could you imagine being a kid now? and growing up WITHOUT any disney animation classics? it was always a huge deal for whole families to go to the theatre to watch these movies.. like when lion king came out in theatre, i had to wait in this huge line with my parents.. it was an event... kids now don't understand that, it's sad :(
