I think there are few pieces in my gallery that capture what Cronic is supposed to be quite like this. As with anyone, there are a lot of sides to him; some more out there, some more subdued, angry sides and soft sides, plenty of grey around the edges, but this.. this is what I picture as his staple; his center - confident, happy, kind, and chill. Jock-ish, sure, but not like 80's high-school movie villain jock. And I guess that's because I've always had Cronic as an extension of myself and that's what I am and what I've always aimed to be. So yeah, I love this piece; a simple piece but a piece that feels right.
