Elfriede is a former Rōnin that was taken into the same shrine that Veronica resides. Not long after being taken into her care did she find a new purpose in serving the supreme priestess. She devoted herself more then ever and even earned the title of Kensei. Though she disliked that customary armor that was given with that title. She found armor in general far to cumbersome, opting to wearing a ceremonial robe instead to show her dedication to the shrine. Per request, she died it and customized it to fit her title more.

The way of the sword is more of a secondary skill to her. She would draw her blade for quick strikes to surprise her opponents. Even with her large claws, she has found a way to grip them quite well. That being said, as you'd expect form a Lurantis, her attacks come from primarily her large claws. Grabbing and ripping her opponents apart.
