During some time off I took I downloaded what survived of Maya and Aztec codices (my love for Mesoamerican culture and mythology is undying, it was incredibly sad to see those barely visible original pages, even if various artists tried to recreate the glyphs and art throughout the ages) and practice art style based on those codices. This is a random practice sheet inspired by what I saw :3 I plan to do at least one more such Mesoamerican one and then perhaps such sheets of different style, like Medieval manuscripts, Egyptian stuff or Celtic stuff etc.
