As I'm one of "those furries" who gives my fursona and characters complicated backstories, it would take an entire novel (literally) to explain the real context of this. But, essentially, while my fursona "Talon" has always been a raccoon/wolf archetype, he never ends up with his raccoon mask until much later in his narrative. Thus, there are 2 primary versions of his face colors.

Before I fully set off on my work-from-home freelancing journey, I've been keeping a sharp eye out for any cheap commissions I can get. I'm sure we can all agree here, but there's something that gives so much joy in seeing your beloved fursona drawn in a good quality or new style. And honestly, it might not be til the end of the year that I can see any "success" in my little career change, and I'd hate to go for that long without getting a commission or two - especially with how fur cons can't be a thing this year, and at this rate likely for the next. But I suddenly realized that a few of my refsheets either do or don't include the raccoon mask, so instead of going back and updating every refsheet adaptation I've made, I just threw this together to depict the two face types.
