Here's Rojo, my 2 year old Columbian red-tail boa (Boa constrictor). This little guy, of course, has a tiny story with him.
He hails from Craigslist. I was told that he had been bitten in the face by a mouse, and was blind in one eye. The day after bringing him home, I set a nice warm tub for him to soak in, since he had a big flap of skin left on his head from his previous shed. After 10 or 15 minutes in there, I checked out the so-called "injured" eye. Turned out he had a LOAD of retained eyecaps over one eye. They came off very easily after his soak, and his eyesight is perfect. He was just dehydrated.
Rojo is now a perfectly healthy, and strikingly gorgeous little boa!

I shouldn't say anything too bad about them, at least they didn't cripple him with MBD like my poor bearded dragon. They raised him from a hatchling. I think their only mistake was not giving him a monthly soak. I always do that to all my snakes, it makes shedding SO much easier on them. Especially babies like Rojo who are growing, and shed often!
