After wrestling with her design for years, I've finally settled on a combination of colors and markings that is both attractive and simple to remember. I got rather sick of having to look at my own reference sheet just to draw my fursona. I did this sometime in early 2009, but forgot to upload it until just now. Whoops!
My laptop is being a little funky with the coloration of things tonight, so I'm really not sure how saturated the mane and tail are. Apologies in advance.
For simplicity's sake, I've simplified the mane and tail from a fade of 7 different shades of blue, green, and purple to a simple blue-lime-purple that should be much easier to execute. In exchange for her thigh markings (which were really a pain in the ass and got on my nerves all of the time), I added a very simple fan of swirls along her back that reach over her shoulders and spread out onto her chest. As you can tell from looking at the old reference, all of these have been highly simplified, too. The only markings that have remained the same are the slashes on her fetlocks, three black bands on both wrists, and her eye swirlythings.
I'm not sure how well it shows up, but she's also got a light dusting of creamy pink on her muzzle, stomach, breasts, and ladybits where her fur would be slightly thinner and show more of her cremello coloration.
