After the previous photo, Pete decided it would be a good idea to climb down my arm and onto my lap. Not taking into consideration that he ways about 25 lbs.
One aspect of living with an adult iguana that can rarely be avoided: you WILL look like an emo kid. My arm has more scars and cuts then I can think of. Not that he does it on purpose. Just even when they're trimmed, he weighs to much not to draw blood on occasion.
It's worth it, he's too snuggly x)

Oh god yeah. They're probably 2-3 inches long. And they're not, like, REALLY sharp, and he definitely doesn't use them on purpose to try to hurt us. He's just so heavy, and the way he climbs...I have some good scars :P
