So seeing as I have a lot of free time being un-employed, how about me just kicking back some of the days ye'olde redneck style and fix cars! (in some shape or form at least)
When I got my mates car its front bumper was a little worse for wear, bad paint chipping (literally down to the point you could see the bare plastic) and those dang body painted intakes! >.=.<
So I took it upon myself to sand down the bumper as best as I could in the very badly affected areas as you can see from the before picture and then prime and re-paint those areas, the paint isn't perfect sadly cause the very minor lines that I thought I had sanded to a smooth finish were magnified by the final paint.. so up close you can see where the "chunks" were missing, but none the less I say a HUGE improvement! I also went out today and sanded down the two white side grills and painted them with a low gloss black paint to make them match the SI model of civic that I got that had the sense to have ALL the grills remain black plastic, I think having mis-matched grills just made the car look ugly in a way.

Ehhe thanks, yeah I will admit I could point out a lot of flaws with it, I was hoping for the main bumper paint to turn out better, lol all I had to work with was 1 can primer 1 can body paint, some sand paper and 1 can of flat black paint XD about as basic and redneck as it gets lol
*giggles* I was actually wondering when you would see this in your in-box XD
Thanks man ^.=.^ im starting to feel a lot more comfortable doing body work. *chuckles* finally am getting ballsy enough to start doing more things, even got myself a Haynes manual just for any future need! ^.=.^

*giggles* yeah I know that's where they are placed. I just couldn't stand the fact that those two filler-grills were body colored while the real one is left as bare plastic, something had to be done! :O
Ooooh that car has a lot of work ahead of it, this summer-ish im gonna have to bondo-hair/ patch those rear wheel wells on that car, typical civic rust out and the like >.=.<. but once its done that car will look sweeet!
