I finished it and I think it's looks good. I tried to give it a soft tender feel to the atmosphere.
(The little one is Taipiki and the large Tajoh is her mother.)
This was therapeutic and it definitely made me feel better.
I felt I wanted to share something wholesome during these heavy times especially for this nightmare of a year, it was something of emotion that brought out into this pic. Tender and being safe so to speak. It took me quite a lot of hours to finish it, I was a hesitate on the shading but I luckily remembered that tutorial.
This was something that not only improved my patience but improved not to worry over such minor things, I learnt to use tone control to create interesting values and it somehow changes the atmosphere. I think my understanding with dynamic lightning is gettting better, my understanding with ambient occlusion is going to take a lot of time but its worth to practice.
