GO TEAM VENTURE
Been rewatching my favorite show with my friends and UGH. ALL THE FEELS.
It also feels really good to gush about a show I’ve loved since the beginning.
Like, seriously, i can’t explain how much this show shaped me into the person I am today. Able to recognize moral grey areas, patient, and not to toot my own horn, everyone thinks I’m hilarious <3
First couple of seasons are rough cuz they use the r-slur repeatedly, but it was 2011. A lot of people were guilty of throwing it around,
But they barely do it in the later seasons and even had a character that spoke up against the use of the word. If you can make it to at least the end of season 2 I think you’ll be hooked.
The story telling starts funny and parody like, but the later seasons the story really amps up and the show is full of so much care and love from the creators and everyone that works on the show. Their all such champs.

I love the Venture Bros. One of the best shows ever made, IMO.
I loved the early seasons, because the johnny Quest cartoons that they parody were a big part of my childhood. And then when they started doing the GI Joe parodies with OSI and Sphynx... Those were some of my favorite episodes! xD

I remember watching Johnny Quest when I was a kid so it was definitely why it caught my attention, and it definitely educated me about a lot of need to know Nerd Culture bullshit thats kept me alive working at card game shops and comic book stores.
I can’t think of a favorite episode because their all so great stand alone. <3

The making of book has been pretty decent too!
And watching it solidly through compared to the episodic feel it used to have in the early days is such a whirlwind of emotions. I’ll never get enough of this crazy show. I could gush about it for hours XD and have !!!!
