Jimmy is one of my first characters. He's an 8 years old lion cub who lives with his big brother Ethan. Originally, he was meant to be a domestic cat because I thought it was cuter and in the two first commissions of him, he's a kitten. Ethan also refers him as such on their debut story.

However, in his lastest commission, he is depicted as a lion cub, because the artist pointed that since they are biological brothers, they should resemble each other. I was so impressed with his work that I didn't even notice Jimmy was depicted as a lion instead of cat. I decided to change his species and since lions are colloquially referred as big cats, maybe the reference is still valid.

Ethan is 28 years old and due their difference of age, the lion siblings are often mistaken as father and son. Ethan is a caretaker and very experienced with children, thus, he has no trouble taking care of his little brother. They have a very strong bond and love each other deeply.
