Just a mockup for my game idea, currently under the name "Sponge Cake & Confetti".

Here's a bit more explanation for what's going on here:
- TIME: Not only does it act as an overall timer, but certain events will also happen at certain times. Keep in mind it does not tick down in real time, that would be silly.
-REPUTATION: I had realised that this was fairly similar to Reddit's karma system, so... Reddit: The Game, everybody. You earn certain coloured flags, either blue or red, depending on the words you say and the actions you do. Getting a lot of blue flags have a lot of perks, like more people being eager to talk to you and being invited to certain characters' houses. Getting too many red flags will have you... suffer the consequences.
- INVENTORY: One slot for each hand, two slots for each pocket.
- GENUITY SWITCH: Unlike most dialogue-heavy games, there's the option to either speak genuinely or speak with a lot of farce. It acts as a risk-reward system, where some characters will find your sarcasm pretty funny, but it might go over others' heads. Could also be pretty inappropriate in certain scenarios.
- DIALOGUE OPTIONS: You get three of them, along with an option to end the conversation there and walk around some more.
- CONVERSATION TOPICS: By the press of the X button, you can open a dropdown menu featuring many types of subjects. Characters, work, travel, hobbies, pop culture, even yourself. Keep in mind that you're not the only one who can change it at will, the NPCs you talk to can as well. There's also the recent topics section, allowing you to snap to them much quicker.
