And then it happens. As Jesse makes his way through the mud around the flooded road, completely bummed out over having to walk (somewhere) soaking wet in a pouring rain, and to top all this off, it's getting harder and harder to walk when he steps into a deep(er) spot and gets stuck. Trying to yank his foot free, his moccasin gets sucked off his foot and immediately fills with sloppy mud. Dejected, Jesse leaves the mired topsider in the mud and trudges on.
He'll probably lose the other one before reaching solid ground.
Technical:
Umm...I think I've gone over all the behind-the-screen stuff that went into this one, so refer back to the previous three pages for insights on what went into this bit of sequential art :) .
Edit: Oh yeah, all those raindrops, splashes and spray on all these pages? Completely hand-drawn. No copypasta or effects brushes, just hundreds of short pen strokes per page. My Intuos 4's stylus must be grateful I placed a sheet of clear acetate over it's somewhat abrasive surface (itself an attempt to simulate paper texture), because I would have no doubt worn out its nib doing this effect.
Digital drawing performed with Krita 4.3.0. Twelve layers, 257.7MB in-app, 23MB on-disk. 7 hours and 14 minutes total editing time as per Krita's internal project timer. Project ID: 469

You would have done better to link to the Wikipedia page on "SCP". The video only parrots the internal collaborative-fiction organization's wiki...word-for-word, which is pretty useless to anyone not already involved in that subculture.
Also, my schtick with 'muddy-shoes' material is mild fetish at best. Horror tropes don't belong in my interpretation.
