Here are thoughts she shared with me about it:
"My thinking was an amalgamation of things. My favorite kinds of art are fantasy paintings, so I tried to do a colorful painterly style to the best of my abilities to what I was taking on (I originally imagined the cat lined, but the style I imagined it in wasn't my own, and I don't think I could have achieved it well) and without overlapping too much of what you've already received for the prompt (the dragon/sky piece is very close to what I originally had in mind). Nature, greenery, flowers, sunset, the open air and the freedom birds seem to have are some things that come to mind when I think of beauty. I also thought to tie in one of my cats, Tiger. He's a cat we took in off the street, and was an absolute sweetie. Before we officially took him in, he would sometimes be laying on our porch while letting birds eat his food. He liked to just be in the outdoors, and he suddenly passed away on us in June, so I thought he could be integrated into his world of birds and nature.">
