I kinda like this. When I was in College studying Graphic Arts, I was really influenced by the works of the "Futurist" Syd Mead who created a lot of designs such as these. I look at this image and try to convert it into isometric forms in my head, which can be a fun, mental exercise.
No Man's Sky meeting Starwars in a way, the background is a little plain and lacking something.. but the style and the contrasting colours make this a little abstract in a way and I like it. I think I'm used to seeing more detailed backgrounds in your work but sometimes less is more!
