Chapter 1

It was twenty years ago on Pandora that disaster struck the Navis world, the humans had tried to yet again take the mineral that laid just below the surface of there home so the tribes chief and his mate made a decision about there new born little boy. Everyone was gathered by the soul tree chanting as the chiefs mate held her baby in her arms. Her child looked so much like his father and no dout that he would be strong willed just like him also. Finally after much chanting something started to happen, the tree started to glow then from its it was Eywa the diety of the Navi people. "Why have you summoned me"? she asked looking down at all her people. The chief walked slowly up to her then bowed down. "Please protect our new born he's been through to much please take him and protect him". he said taking the baby from his mate and raising it to her. Eywa smiled and took the baby. "Very well I shall protect him for you but just remember this he will return one day and he will be in for the biggest battle of his life". Then she dissapeared and that was that. The chiefs wife was not hapy in the bit to be giving up her baby but she knew it had to be done, ut what she didnt know was that he would be returning home very soon.

It was a fine day on planet Earth, but for Devon Anderson it was a hectic day for it was the day of his final exams of his last year in college. He was so nervous that he thought his heart was going to beat right out of his chest, but then just as the exam started two men from the army burt through the doors. "Were looking for Devon Anderson". He stood up and they walked over towards him. "We need you to come with us". the other one said. "Why"? he asked with a weired exspression on his face. "We will tell you when we get there". they said. "Wait im not going anywheres until you tell me wha....". Then one of them pushed a thin injector into his arm and he passed out quickly. They picked him up and walked out.

He must have been asleep for hours because when he woke up he wasnt in his house or anywhere he knew for that matter he looked outside and saw Earth dissapeariing into the distance. He jumped off and ran to the pilots hanger. As he burst through the door everyone looked at him in a strange way. "Ok now will you tell me whats going on"?!. he yelled. They all looked at each other then one of them walked over to him. "Do you remember when you were asked at your school if you could go into a small room and stay there for the longest time a couple monthes ago"? He gave him a weired look. "Yeah what of it"? "That was filled with air from Pandora normally noone can breahe it but it looks like you are an exception". "Wait did you say Pandora"? "Yes we've charted a course for it". "So what do you need me for"? "Since you can breathe there air it shouldn't be a problem talking to the Navi about letting us dig in there home". Devon turned white, he had heared stories about the Navi, that they were savages and would kill anything in sight. He couldnt believe that he was going to Pandora to just be killed.
