This Garrison G10 was my daughter’s first guitar. She kindly loaned it to me for this photoshoot. I love the simple rosette pattern which was either etched or painted directly onto the top. I’m also very happy with the flashes of sunlight reflected from the B and E strings.

Garrison was founded in 1999 and operated out of a plant located in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. A key feature of Garrison acoustic guitars was their innovative bracing system, which was made of a single piece of fiberglass composite. The company was acquired by Gibson Guitar Corporation in 2007, which halted production of the Garrison product line in 2010.
