He's beautiful colour, too. I've managed to catch an Anna's hummingbird with his beak open- he was perched in a high place, singing his little wee heart out. This picture is lovely and so clear- THAT'S really hard to do with hummers- these little guys move so fast. *chuckles* Good catch!

I'm a VERY amateur photographer, so I admire the skill it takes to get a good shot like that. Sure, there's some luck involved (I mean, you have to spot the little guy first, right?), but being able to get a pic like this takes some chops.
