A refresher bio:

Vannessa is Valerie's twin sister, dedicated to going back to B-Side and killing her parents to satisfy her rage for being poorly raised and outcasted. Unlike Val, who really doesn't care about life and loves her daddy, Vannessa hates him and strives to have both the skill and a powerful enough sword to slay him.

Val is the happy one.

Vannessa is the sad one.

Both of them have lived very terrible lives.

Every year they fight eachother in bladed combat, Ninja versus Samurai at midnight on June 22nd and fight to kill. Val does it to test her skill. Vannessa does it to bond with her sister. She figures if she cuts her down to the point of not being able to move, then nurse her back to health, she could be pleased for an entire year. Even if it is just 1 night before Val is walking again and gone by day until next time. She loves her that much

Vannessa wonders the planet, looking for those foolish enough swordsman to flaunt their skill against her so she could not only best them in combat, but take weapon to further test her own.

The 3 swords she carries are hers.
The rapier belonged to Val (who gave it up out of love... and cuz
she wanted to be a ninja) When it peirces a foe, it drains blood into the hilt for
storage. Vannessa is ashamed but she does drink from it.

The black one is a fabeled blade named "The Fox's Wrath" it is
believed that the length changes when swung with enough skill and force the
metaphor is "when your target is out of reach, you must extend your hand to get your vengeance" similar to how a fox is tricky

The white one is knows as "The Kitten's Sorrow" She doesn't
know how to use it perfectly but it is said that it is weightless and swift in the
presence of intense emotion but weighs a ton when Once it's used to kill. The
metaphor is that it grants you what you want (to kill the enemy) but at a heavy price... (Similar to a cat we all know and love, right?)
