Biography: Delphi is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro and Palutena, being the twin sister to family Shaman Elysia, being one of the overall 2nd in 1/2 Mermaid batch #3. As Delphi was born a minute after Elysia, she is the younger twin. Like her many other siblings, Delphi liked listening to her father's tales whenever he came back from a perilous journey. Much like with Elysia, Delphi's interest in one inspired her to take up arms with her magical potential. Much like Elysia, her elder twin sister, Delphi opted to dabble in the black magic arts, namely being a user of dark magic. She proved to be a magical prodigy, easily mastering not just dark magic, but also the basic Fire, Ice, Wind, and Thunder magics, too, going onto becoming a Dark Mage while Elysia delve deeper into the elements and became a Shaman. On Gaia, she served as a top ranking general among the intial Gaia Army, teaching new recruits with her sister in learning how to harness Dark Magic for good. However, save for her sisters, father, and immortal stepmothers, the army was caught offguard and majorly wiped out by the invading Supreme Forces. Though initially disheartened the attack ended in the enemy's favor, Delphi, along with her other siblings, swore to join the newly form Gaia Alliance and take back the castle, and to provide help whenever she can. Delphi, naturally, is a rather friendly and sociable woman and enjoys making conversation with anyone. She is however, sharp tongued and doesn't hesitate to give harsh rebukes when the moment calls for it. Much like Elysia, she is merciless to her enemies and is even more so to those who truly deserve no mercy. Also: She is an immense quicksand lover and the second she hears quicksand, she will dart to the nearest pit and sink in it. Aside from this, she's an avid nature lover and has no forgiveness for those who would defile nature. Mostly for profit. Dislikes clear sunny days the most.
Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Delphi takes on her mermaid form whenever she enters the water, preferring the water to be either clean, fresh, or ocean water. In the water, she, like her other 1/2 Mermaid siblings, enjoys a x2 increase to her dodge/avoid. Being a dark mage, Delphi has excellent growth rates in Magic & Resistance with those being her best stats. Unlike Elysia however, Delphi's Strength & Defense growth rates are not as good, being meager at best. Her speed & skill growth are on par with Elysia's however, enabling her to double attack rather easily. Her luck stat however, is also worthy to take notes of. Delphi is a wizz at Voodoo & Alchemy much like Elysia, yet her hypnosis is one area that she is working on more & more every day. She also has skills in divination but has mastered the art of it with rune stones. As with Elysia, Delphi's prediction are often extremely accurate, but they always bring forth good news and positive outcomes in the end. As a Dark Mage, Delphi has the ability to use powerful Dark Magic in addition to using Anima Magic. She starts with the following magic and skills.
Flux: The basic Dark Magic
Nosferatu: Restores (Damage Dealt/2) HP To the user.
Elfire: Powerful fire magic.
Elfrost: Powerful ice magic.
Elthunder: Powerful thunder magic.
Magic Steal: The Personal Skill of Delphi. Enables the user to actively steal the magic of the target and make that magic one of her own spells to use. Also effective on Monster's Magic such as Shadowshot or Demon Surge. This skill has a higher effectiveness if the user is a higher level than the target. If successful, the magic stolen is not removed from the target's inventory, but is rendered unusable for 5 turns. The spell however, has a number of uses and therefor does not drain mana, but it cannot be used again until it runs out. The stolen spell cannot be carried over into the next battle. If used on a tome that can be dropped, the tome will be added to the convoy until either the number of uses runs out, or the battle ends.
