Like gazing up into the night sky while out camping, this collar too shines in displaying nine different constellations that can be found among the stars. Created for Starlightweasel over on Twitter, this was an exciting challenge to take on as I'd had ideas for something like this for the past year, but not the confidence to try it until now (Also finally found a supplier for decent spikes). It was an excellent experience and I'm so thankful for the chance!

Thank you! And yeas, kind of. The spikes have screwbacks, so all one has to do is fit the screw through the hole in the leather, and tighten the spike overtop. Add a bit of super glue to the threaded hole of the spike and you're golden for a good, tight hold that'll last ^^
That is really beautiful! I wonder if white, yellow, gold, or silver accents on the stars and constellations would make them stand out more? My imaginative side can't help but wonder was a collar like that (built by a 3D printer) with built in LED's would look like. The constellations have a cosmic magic all their own, you did a wonderful job paying them homage.
Thank you so much! I've thought about doing such a thing in the past, using some metallic paints to accent the constellations and their lines. This definitely wont be the last constellation piece for sure, so only time will tell how they turn out :p
I know that Leathersaurus over on Twitter has used LEDs on some of their work in the past, but I'm not sure if they are anymore. It gives a pretty cool look from what I remember!
